There are children's books, and then there are children's books. If you haven't read anything from the Barefoot Books collection, then you are missing out on the latter!
I was sent a review copy of Catch that Goat! and was astonished at the bright colors, beautiful illustrations, and cultural and educational teaching.
How many books have you read with your kids lately that teach you how to say "hello" in Yoruba?! See what I mean?
Barefoot Books are designed to challenge young minds and "extend our children's horizons with a focus on our global community." And I can honestly say they really do all of the above!
I have an extra copy of Catch that Goat! for one of you! Just leave a comment here telling me which Barefoot Book you like from their site. Also, include a way for me to contact you should you win.
Contest will end on Sunday, October 22 and 11:59 p.m. A winner will be picked at random using Random.org and announced on Monday, October 23.
Good luck and happy entering! And be sure to keep an eye out for other contests coming up!
