My little girl has loved Build-A-Bear for forever, so when she received a huge box at the door from them the other day, words cannot describe her excitement (she has a birthday coming up this Friday, too, so the timing was perfect).
Inside the cute cardboard house was the brand new, snowy white Owl!

There was also a 3-D Scavenger Hunt Map with 3-D glasses with a special code to use online in Build-A-Bearville. And Natalie cannot get enough of both the owl and the hunt!
Not only is the owl fluffy and cuddly, but it has a head that spins all the way around, a feature which Natalie found very cool. She's been taking her new owl friend, whom she has dubbed "Owlen" (uniquely pronounced "Oh-lin" though), everywhere with her and sleeps with it at night.
I have to say this is one of my own favorite Build-A-Bear creatures. The speckled "fur" looks like real feathers and the "beak" is so adorable.
The owl sells for $18 online, but you can win a $25 gift card to use on the owl, or toward any other purchase at Build-A-Bear, right here!

ReplyDeleteIt's a fun process for kids.. and it lets them get creative.. I think it's such a unique shop
ReplyDeleteahellen@gmail.com
I like how it gives kids a project to do, then they get to take home the result. The result is usually amazing, which helps self-esteem. It's not like they're trying whittling for the first time and have to take home some chopped up mangled block of wood that's supposed to be a canary.
ReplyDeleteThe tweet. she is done.

I like how its interactive and kids can see how a bear is made.
ReplyDeletei like that there are options to make it personalized :)
ReplyDeleteI love going with my kids to BAB. They are always so excited to pick out their new adoptee and in general, it's just a lot of fun!
ReplyDeleteI love that they have International costumes for the stuffed animals. It's always nice when I find a collection that includes a Korean hanbok.
ReplyDeleteThe entire process is fun. I love that there's so many things that the kids can choose from and they can be creative and make something their very own. It also makes them proud.

I know it's silly but I love the little red hearts that you put into the stuffed animals!

ReplyDeleteI love that a little one's imagination can run wild to create a new friend. I took my niece and she just lit up! It was her time when she could give her toy the life and character that she wanted. She had so much fun in there and the employees are always fantastic.

I love all the choices that Build-A-Bear has available. It is so cool to see everyone picking out their favorite palymate and dressing them up. Thank you for the chance.
ReplyDeleteI like that you can customize it to fit your budget and to fit your child's personality.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about Build-A-Bear is that they don't make fun of adults who like to go there with no kids! I also like that they have a nice variety of accessories & clothing items that are reasonably priced, but still cute!
ReplyDeleteI love that they have so many different accesories for the bears. My daughter loves going to pick out different things for the Hannah Montana bear she got from there! Thanks for the chance!
